The USDA controls what butterflies can be shipped where. Out of respect for their migration patterns Monarch Butterflies have been divided into East and West with the Continental Divide as the dividing line. Farm raised Monarch Butterflies may only be released into the environment in the section of the United States from which they originated. Our farms are in Florida and we raise Eastern Monarchs.
*The Continental Divide runs through Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming. We are only permitted to ship to the Eastern side of these states.
